Qualified Students are those who:
The Application Process is as follows:
1. Parent or guardian is recommended to complete the online initial application and submits an electronic signature releasing all academic and behavioral student records. All records must be submitted in order for the application to be complete. All required records include but are not limited to:
a. Report cards
b. Recent test scores
c. Behavior/discipline records
d. 504 and/or IEP (if applicable)
e. Psychological evaluation (if applicable)
f. Social security card
g. Birth certificate
h. Immunization records
i. Proof of residency
a. Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing (CTOPP)
b. Kauffman Brief Intelligence Test Second Editions (KBIT-2)
c. Academic and Curriculum Based Performance Tasks
d. A guardian consultation meeting with the LKA Admissions Team
The Determination Process is as follows:
a. A review of the documentation submitted as part of the Application Process.
b. A review of all results of the screening assessments and parent consultation.
All decisions by the Admissions Team as to whether a child is a qualified student are final.
